"How you are able to achieve such a clear and accurate transcription is as puzzling to me as the original wording! I have enjoyed reading the letter, which is interesting in its own right, although it remains a mystery (for now) as to why this letter is among papers of Jegon Wellard and the Wellard family. The only connection we can see so far is the reference to Dover. Jegon Wellard's father, Robert Wellard, was (amongst other things) Mayor of Dover. Thank you also for providing additional information about Sir James Hales and an online source of further information about that family. I'll definitely use your services again if we have need of further transcription.
